Bonnie Lynn Hunt who was born on September 22, 1961) is known as an American actress and comedian. She has appeared in films such as Rain Man, Beethoven, Beethoven's 2nd, Jumanji, Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile, Cheaper by the Dozen, and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Hunt has provided voice roles in A Bug's Life, Zootopia, and the Monsters, Inc., Cars, and Toy Story franchises. She appeared in Grand and Davis Rules, and created, produced, and starred in The Building, Bonnie, and Life with Bonnie. She was the host of The Bonnie Hunt Show from 2008 to 2010. Early life Bonnie Lee Hunt was born September 22, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois. Her parents were Robert Edward Hunt (1927-1981), an electrician, and Alice E. Hunt (née Jatczak) (1925-2021). Her father was from Irish and Belgian descent, and her mother has Polish roots. Her siblings include three older brothers: Patrick, Kevin, and Tom, as well as two older sisters, Cathy and Carol, and a younger sister, Mary. She was educated in Catholic schools, including Saint Ferdinand School and Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago, and also worked part-time as a nurse's aide. In 1982, Hunt worked as an oncology nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Two years later, in 1984, she co-founded a comedy troupe known as An Impulsive Thing. In 1986, Hunt joined Chicago's famed Second City troupe. In 1988, during her time as a nurse, Hunt auditioned on her lunch break for the role of waitress Sally Dibbs in Rain Man and was cast.
